The Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is the premier hotel found inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. This hotel has a very unique focus on family and luxury. Guest’s desires are made a big priority by the staff, making your stay that much more memorable.
Built on reclaimed land in the north eastern end of Lantau Island, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking for the best Disney experience Hong Kong has to offer. The Victorian style architecture of the building is very similar to Disney’s Grand Floridian resort in Orlando, Florida.
There are 400 guest rooms available. These rooms provide you with views of the sea or their beautiful garden. Depending on which room you stay in, there may also be a balcony or a Jacuzzi inside. If you choose to stay in one of their best rooms available, you will even get your own personal butler!
Some of the amenities provided include a flat screen LCD TV, high speed internet access, free guest parking, valet service, limousine service, mini bar, in room safe and laundry service. They provide smoking and non-smoking rooms with either 2 double beds or 1 king size bed. Cribs are available for younger children upon request. Rooms for the disabled are also available upon request.
Lots of activities are available on site for guests to enjoy. Many of these have a special Disney theme. Some of the activities include a life size Mickey Mouse maze that you can walk through (located at the back of the hotel), outdoor games and activities for kids, and a special bed time story with Mickey Mouse before the kids go to bed. And if you’re lucky, you just might see some of your favourite Disney characters walking around the hotel lobby. Be sure to snap a picture if you see them. Other activities include a spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym and outdoor courts for playing several different sports.
Public transportation is on site as there’s a Disneyland Resort Public Transport Interchange nearby to take you to the rest of Hong Kong. From here you can take the closest MTR Train, bus, taxi or car to see other areas of Hong Kong. Shuttle buses to and from your hotel to the Disneyland Park are available every 10 to 15 minutes. If you don’t want to wait for a bus, it’ll only take you about 10 minutes by foot to get to the Disneyland Park from this hotel.
A wide variety of restaurants are available in the hotel. Restaurants ranging from Chinese style food to buffets or snacks. All of these restaurants have a Disney theme inside. See Disney characters come and say hi while you dine at the enchanted garden restaurant. There’s also a bar by the pool and a lounge on site.
Of the 2 hotels located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (the other one being Disney’s Hollywood Hotel), the Disneyland Hotel in Hong Kong is the more expensive one. If you’re thinking of staying at a hotel inside Disneyland, you may want to research both hotels located in the park and make a decision from there.
